Directing &Producing TV Entertainment @ NFTS.
Queen of Accents.
A biography, abridged
Here's the lowdown: I'm a content creator, video producer, and storyteller with a whirl of ideas buzzing through my head.
I've got a few powers under my belt too, like dodging monkeys, the ability to do a head stand, and telepathy. One of these powers is a downright lie.
I speak English, Arabic, French and Webdings (just kidding, #fakenews) fluently, so if you're ever looking for someone to do some translations, I'd love to hear from you.
I recently graduated from the National Film & Television School with a masters in Directing and Producing TV. For my graduation project, I produced and co-wrote a pilot for an original studio sitcom. I love comedy, so if you're ever looking to collab on some laughs (no tinned laughter, pls), hit me up!
For my bachelors, I went to Rutgers University where I studied French, Russian and Art History. While at Rutgers, I worked as an Assistant Editor on the award-winning documentary Antarctic Edge: 70° South. I also interned at the NJ Film Festival, worked as a researcher, a mentor and a writing instructor, and held the Arts Entertainment Editor position at The Rutgers Review. I also acted in the sketch comedy group College Avenue Players.
Post-uni, I interned at Business Insider's branded content department BI Studios for several months and then flew off to Malaysia for my Fulbright grant, where I represented the U.S. government at a grassroots level, teaching English as a second language. It was there that I learned one of the most important life lessons: never, ever smile at monkeys. If you guess the correct answer, I'll give you a high-five!
After my Fulbright adventure, I went on to work in project management in New York and Philadelphia. Some of my clients included Comcast and NYU Langone Medical Center.
